Mark Toney have a total of five coffee shops, sandwich bars and restaurants in and around Newcastle city centre, all with comfortable seating, reasonable prices and take-away service. Sample one of our famous ice cream sundaes at any of these outlets.

The elegant Grainger Street shop is our flagship premises, at 53 Grainger Street, Newcastle. It is smart and comfortable with mahogany and brass decor and has plenty of seating thanks to a large downstairs seating area.

Our Percy Street shop is located at 91 Percy Street, near the St. James' Park football ground, and is perfect for both shoppers and students at the adjacent Newcastle University. It is opposite the Haymarket bus station, and has recently been totally refurbished in a fresh, modern style.

St Mary's Cathedral, built in 1844, has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment, and Mark Toney are proud to have taken over the running of
their beautiful new Cloister Café and Restaurant. St. Mary's is the Cathedral Church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hexham & Newcastle and is
situated in the heart of Grainger Town, opposite Newcastle Central Station, and the café and restaurant offers a tranquil place to enjoy high
quality food, freshly prepared by our chef, at reasonable prices.
Private functions and the celebration of weddings, baptisms etc. can be catered for in the wonderful setting of the Cloister or Private Courtyard.

Mark Toney's have maintained a presence in the Grainger Arcade in Newcastle for over a hundred years. It has been recently refurbished, in keeping with the Victorian origins of the historic arcade.

We have recently carried out an extensive refurbishment of our Sidgate shop, located at the entrance to Eldon Square, next to Grey's Monument. As well as offering takeaway ice creams and sandwiches, the new design has enabled us to introduce a seating area.
